The Millionair Club Charity provides hot meals and eye care to the needy in our community and additional services to the working homeless registered with our day labor program.
Hot meals
We serve about 10,000 meals a month — breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday — to anyone who enters the building. Breakfast is served from 6:15 to 7:00am and lunch is from 12:00 to 1:30pm. For registered workers, this is fuel for the day ahead. For others, it may be the only meals they have on their fixed income.
Eye care
Cooperatively with the Lions Vosh Foundation, we provide an eye exam and glasses annually to anyone without insurance or medical coupons. Clinic appointments are between 9:00am and 1:00pm on Thursdays from September to June and are offered by volunteer optometrists and opticians.
Hygiene facilities
Those who are registered in the day labor program have access to shower and laundry facilities during day labor office hours, 6:00 to 10:00am on workday mornings. Workers can check in and clean up while they wait for a job order.
Day labor
We dispatch only registered workers who can legally work in the U.S. and pass a background check. Workers check in on mornings they are available Monday through Saturday — 7 days a week from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Read more about our workers, or hire a worker today.
Social services
Our trained social worker is available to help identify and find solutions to meet the individual needs and goals of Seattle's working homeless.
