MILLIONAIR CLUB CHARITY TO BEGIN SEARCH FOR NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Board of Trustees commences process

SEATTLE, WA, June 12, 2020 – Millionair Club Charity, a Seattle-based nonprofit temporary staffing organization focused on supporting men and women experiencing poverty and homelessness, seeks a new Executive Director as it enters its 100th year of operation. The Executive Director will lead an internal team of 15 staff members and oversee a charitable employment program that serves upwards of 1,000 local men and women annually, more than 55% of whom self-identify as Black, Hispanic, and/or multi-racial

The Millionair Club Charity has been deeply entrenched in the history of downtown Seattle and has been furthering its partnerships and reach in recent years by welcoming Operation Sack Lunch into their building, as well as the Downtown Seattle Metropolitan Improvement Team. These strategic partnerships are moving the organization forward as it evolves, including an upcoming rebranding effort, to further enhance its mission and reach. Millionair Club Charity’s Board of Trustees is excited for the future and to begin work with a new Executive Director to meet the needs of the region’s vulnerable populations.

Board President Chris Gehrke commented, “I am optimistic for the future of the organization, and I’m warmed by the continued commitment and dedication of the staff and Board to the organization’s mission.”

Millionair Club Charity will mark 100 years of continuous operation in March 2021. The Board of Trustees looks to find a candidate that will help shape the vision for the next 100 years, while also addressing the needs of the current socioeconomic crises and working to uplift a community in need.

Chris Rylko, current Chief Operations Officer, has been named interim Executive Director. Daily operations will continue as regularly scheduled (noting limited operations due to COVID-19 precautions).
